Session Description
This Arts at the Anchor session is being taught by Heather Parlongo, an experienced dance instructor. Heather will lead you in several movements to teach the basic concepts of creative dance. Creative Dance gives us the opportunity to explore our individuality and our connection to the wider group. Through music and movement we will explore space and locomotive movements by working together in pairs and groups in a supportive atmosphere.
No dance experience or specific physical dexterity is required as a prerequisite. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend with consideration given to participants who prefer being seated for the creative movement session.
